WILLOUGHBY, Ohio (WOIO) - A 20-year-old Euclid man has died from his injuries, after being shot in the 1330 block of Fox Run Dr. Monday afternoon.

The Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner said Damonte Perry was brought to Lake West Hospital by Willoughby EMS and then transferred by medical helicopter to University Hospitals.

Perry was pronounced dead on Thursday.

Willoughby police, along with assistance from several police agencies from the area, responded to the scene just before 4 p.m. Monday.

Around 6:30 p.m., a male suspect was arrested in the area. His name has not been released.

Police have also not released any information on a motive.
