A true immigrant success story, Porto’s story began in the 1960s after Rosa Porto arrived in California from Cuba with her husband. Initially selling baked goods out of their home kitchen, increased demand prompted them to open a freestanding Echo Park location in 1976.

“Our core menu continues to center around the classics our mother lovingly crafted, recipes that have stood the test of time,” said the Porto’s Bakery family and team.

Porto’s has six Southern California locations, with a future one scheduled for Downtown Disney. Buena Park does big business during breakfast.
