Central Pennsylvania will experience another day of above-average temperatures, with highs reaching the upper 80s and potentially reaching 90 degrees in some areas on Friday.

A dry pattern persists, with no rainfall expected through the weekend.

A surface cold front is slowly moving south across the state, bringing slightly cooler conditions for Saturday, but it’s still supposed to be in the 80s in central Pennsylvania.

The last weekend of summer will feature plenty of sunshine and easterly winds. Low clouds are forecast to develop late Saturday night, which will help moderate overnight temperatures.

The National Weather Service notes that temperatures will remain higher than normal, with highs about 12 to 14 degrees above average in southern Pennsylvania.
