HADLEY, MA (WGGB/WSHM) – Authorities are looking for a vehicle that nearly hit a Hadley student Friday morning.

Hadley Police said that a vehicle that was traveling from Amherst toward Northampton when it nearly struck a student, who was trying to get on a school bus on Rocky Hill Road, around 6:40 a.m.

They noted that they are working with the bus company to see if they may have better video in order to identify the vehicle, but they are asking that if any nearby residents have video that might be closer to the road, that could help in the investigation, to check those cameras and contact police.

Police added that all drivers are being asked to stay alert on the roads as “this could have been tragedy.”
