After hitting a major career milestone with the release of her memoir, Scheana Shay was surprised by the reaction — or lack thereof — from her former Vanderpump Rules costars.

“What surprised me is how many people didn’t support it publicly,” Shay, 40, told Us Weekly exclusively at the Page Six Virtual Reali-Tea “VRT Awards” 2025 at City Winery on Wednesday, September 17.

Shay, who chose not to name names, was still proud of how My Good Side was received.

“I couldn’t have expected what a great reaction that everyone just had about the book. It became a New York Times best seller.
