WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW:

The United States, Mexico, and Canada have initiated a review of the United States-Mexico-Canada Agreement (USMCA), which may result in changes to the agreement that could significantly impact cross-border trade and investment in North America.

The Office of the United States Trade Representative (USTR) is seeking public input regarding the operation of the USMCA to help inform the U.S. government’s positions as the joint review of the agreement proceeds. These public consultations are a critical opportunity for interested parties – including U.S. and international firms, trade associations, and individuals – to help shape changes to the agreement. Written comments from the public are due to USTR by November 3, 2025.
