The manhunt for Travis Decker may be over.

Remains that are believed to be the 32-year-old were found in a remote wooded area south of Leavenworth, Washington, authorities announced Sept. 18, possibly signaling the end of the search for Travis, who had been deemed "the only suspect" in the murders of his daughters Paityn , 9, Evelyn , 8, and Olivia , 5.

"While positive identification has not yet been confirmed, preliminary findings suggest the remains belong to Travis Decker," the Chelan County Sheriff's Office said in a statement to ABC News .
