The 2025-26 NBA season is coming up quickly and the Los Angeles Lakers will be looking to get back to being championship contenders.

Led by LeBron James and Luka Doncic, the Lakers are going to be one of the most watched and talked about teams throughout the upcoming year. No one knows what to expect from the team, but a couple of big offseason additions were made.

Deandre Ayton was the big free agency signing. Following his buyout from the Portland Trail Blazers, Ayton quickly signed with Los Angeles. He'll look to be the center that the Lakers were badly missing last season.

Along with Ayton, Los Angeles signed veteran guard Marcus Smart. Jake LaRavia was a third free agency addition for the Lakers.
