VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. — The 2025 NAS Oceana Air Show is happening this weekend, and it's celebrating a huge anniversary for the Navy.

The theme for this year's air show is "250 Years of America's Navy," referencing the 250th year since the founding of the Navy. Organizers say it's not just about honoring the past, it's about showcasing the future of naval aviation.

"It’s an incredible milestone celebrating the men and women in the Navy, inviting our whole community in the Hampton Roads area to celebrate and show off the hard work we do in the Navy," says Captain Rob Littman, Executive Officer at N.A.S. Oceana.
