Lewis Capaldi has added a second date to his BST Hyde Park appearance after tickets for his first show sold out instantly.
It was confirmed on Monday that the Scottish singer-songwriter will headline the 2026 BST Hyde Park concert series in London as part of his U.K. and Ireland tour.
Following overwhelming demand, organisers revealed he will return to the stage for a second show. He is now set to headline BST Hyde Park on both 11 and 12 July 2026.
A post on the official BST Hyde Park Instagram account announced, "You sold out the first one, so here is another! Due to phenomenal demand, @lewiscapaldi will be playing a second headline show at American Express presents BST Hyde Park on Sunday 12 July 2026."
Lewis also addressed fans directly on Instagram Stories on Friday, saying that the first Hyde Park date had sold out "straight away" before asking followers in a poll whether he should "add another date". Minutes later, he confirmed the additional show.
The star's entire U.K. and Ireland tour also sold out within minutes. In a separate Story post, he wrote: "(This) has been one of the most surreal days of my life with literally hundreds of thousands of ya getting tickets for these huge outdoor shows next year. Thank you all so much!"
The Before You Go hitmaker will begin the tour on 24 June 2026 in Dublin, with a headline performance at Leeds' new Roundhay Festival on 4 July. The trek is set to conclude in Manchester on 22 August.
On Friday, the singer also released his latest single, Something In The Heavens.
Lewis, who recently returned from a two-year hiatus which he took to focus on his mental and physical health, is currently on a 17-date comeback tour across the U.K. and Ireland, which began in Sheffield on 6 September and will conclude in Dublin on 30 September.
