Marcus Rashford's exit from Manchester United hits even harder after the Barcelona president revealed the winger had aspirations to retire at the club.

The England international departed his boyhood club this summer for the second transfer window running in order to join the Spanish giants on loan until the end of the season.

Rashford, 27, last played for the Red Devils in December 2024 before he was removed from the matchday squad against Manchester City later that month and subsequently frozen out of the first-team.

A temporary move to Aston Villa soon followed, where the forward returned to form in parts. However, he made his way back to Manchester in the summer, with Amorim refusing to budge on his decision not to include him in his future plans.
