KINSTON, N.C. (WITN) - A Florence, South Carolina, man is in jail on several drug charges after police say they saw him acting suspiciously and lurking in the shadows at a public housing complex.
Kinston police charged Shaquille Stanley with trafficking methamphetamine and possession of methamphetamine.
Police say around 8:45 p.m. last night they were patrolling the Carver Courts area when they spotted Stanley. They say he tried to run but was quickly caught.
When arrested, police say they found pills and powder on Stanley that tested positive for meth.
The 32-year-old man is being held on a $100,000 secured bond.
