Stratford police are looking for more information after one person was sent to hospital following an overnight stabbing downtown last weekend.
Police were called Sept. 13, shortly after 2:30 a.m., after receiving a report that someone had been stabbed in the picnic area on Ontario Street at the end of Downie Street in Stratford.

Police found the injured person, who had suffered a large cut to the back and had been sprayed in the face by an unknown substance.
The injured person received treatment at Stratford General Hospital and was released later that day.
There are no suspects, police said. Anyone who was in the area between 2 a.m. and 2:45 a.m. is asked to contact the Stratford Police Service if they saw anything suspicious.
