New Orleans cooks will have a chance to sit in on the national tour of "MasterChef All-Stars Live," a stage show based on the hit FOX network "MasterChef" series, when the show stops in the Crescent City next month.
Rachel Sanchez and Julio Figueredo, Season 15 finalists in the "MasterChef Dynamic Duo" competition, will join the cast of the live show for a high-energy cookoff Oct. 16 at the Mahalia Jackson Theater. The culinary competition will feature opportunities for audience participation and will be followed by a Q&A session.
Sanchez and Figueroa will cook for judges and the audience alongside all-stars Michael Leonard, winner of Season 14, and Gerron Hurt, champion of Season 9, on the 30-city tour as whirlwind culinary skills are taped live for the show.
