October is set to be a huge month for Swifties.

To commemorate the release of her 12th album, "The Life of a Showgirl," superstar Taylor Swift announced there will be an accompanying film with a limited theatrical run timed with the album's Oct. 3 release.

The 89-minute movie titled "Taylor Swift | The Official Release Party of a Showgirl" will play in theaters from Oct 3-5, and thankfully for local fans, several showings will be taking place in the New Orleans metro and the Northshore.
