A Webster County man has been sentenced to 30 years in prison in a case involving the rape and abuse of an infant.

Kentucky Attorney General Russell Coleman and Commonwealth’s Attorney Zac Greenwell, who serves Webster County, prosecuted 26-year-old Mykill D. Puckett. Puckett’s plea will require him to serve 30 years, and there will be no probation. He will have to adhere to five years of supervision after his release from jail, as well as a 10-year interpersonal protective order that prevents him from having contact with the victim. Puckett will also have to register as a Sex Offender for life.
