‘Are They Still Here?’ Trump Roasts NPR Reporter During Air Force One Press Gaggle

Donald Trump roasted a reporter from National Public Radio during a press gaggle aboard Air Force One on Friday, with the president seemingly surprised that NPR was still on the air.
In July, the House approved Trump’s plan to claw back $1.1 billion for the Corporation for Public Broadcasting (CPB), which funds NPR , PBS, and their member stations. Although the move hasn’t caused NPR to shut down, the cuts mean some local stations can no longer afford to air NPR content.
