HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - The Hawaii Medical Service Association (HMSA) has partnered with healthcare technology company Stellarus.

The announcement came Thursday when HMSA joined Stellarus as a co-founder alongside Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Kansas.

The not-for-profit health plans are joining Blue Shield of California in using Stellarus’ technology innovation platform, powered by artificial intelligence, to provide access to care that’s smarter, more personalized and more affordable for the communities they serve.

Stellarus combines more than 60 data sets, ranging from clinical health and social demographic information to provider, billing and claims data, into a unified and secure source of truth for health plans.
