HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - King’s Hawaiian Grill opened a new location in the campus center food court at the University of Hawaii at Manoa.

The grand opening was celebrated with a traditional Hawaiian blessing ceremony on Thursday.

In addition to serving classic burgers and chicken sandwiches, there will also be a weekly rotating King’s Hawaiian specialty burger or chicken sandwich.

“University of Hawaii at Manoa holds a special place in our hearts, and we’re grateful for the opportunity to be part of its community,” said Mark Taira, King’s Hawaiian CEO. “The King’s Hawaiian Grill is our way of connecting with students, sharing great food, and creating moments that feel like home.”
