KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Mega popstar Taylor Swift made an exciting announcement Friday about the release of her new album, "The Life of a Showgirl."

Swift posted on Facebook, inviting fans to the official "Release Party of a Showgirl." From Oct. 3-5, you can see the exclusive world premiere of the music video for her new single "The Fate of Ophelia" – along with behind-the-scenes footage of how the music video was made and what inspired the album.

Tickets are on sale now for AMC, Cinemark and Regal theaters. You can purchase them here. Showtimes may vary, and tickets are limited.

Swift made the announcement of her 12th studio album in August. Hundreds of Target stores across the Kansas City area will be opening at midnight on Oct. 3 for the release of her highly anticipated album.
