The Lynn Institute for Healthcare Research celebrated the year’s accomplishments and honored those involved in its mission to create and sustain healthy, hopeful communities during its Sip, Savor and Support event Thursday night in Oklahoma City.
Accomplishments included its 65-bed community garden, which grew about 4,000 pounds of food last year, its first ever. The garden is on track this year to grow 6,000 pounds of food on the Expand Energy campus (formerly Chesapeake Energy) and supports several organizations that serve at-risk communities in the city.
