The Sonic Foundation has donated $40,000 to fund classroom projects at Oklahoma City -area public schools in honor of four local Sonic locations ranking among the top 50 in the nation during the 2025 Dr Pepper Sonic Games , a nationwide competition highlighting team performance, efficiency and service.

The foundation contributed $10,000 for each top-performing location, supporting teachers and students through DonorsChoose , a platform that allows people to fund classroom projects. Two Oklahoma crews — Seminole and Sayre — ranked in the top 12 nationally and will travel to Nashville next month to compete for the title of the nation’s top Sonic. Other local locations recognized include Pauls Valley and Cordell .
