Former President Joe Biden’s retirement has been far from a financial bonanza, the Daily Mail reported.

Biden, 82, who bowed out of the 2024 presidential race, retired from public life late and has one mortgage that’s not set to be paid off until the former president is 100 years old.

And Biden’s fellow Democrats are still steamed that Biden sought a second term in the White House and aren’t eager to offer the former chief executive lucrative speaking engagements or to make financial donations to Biden’s presidential library.

“There isn’t a whole lot of goodwill for the former president in some key corridors of power, and that stems from the fact that he never should have tried to mount a re-election,” one Democratic insider told the Daily Mail.
