Christmas arrives early on television this year with the Hallmark channel beginning holiday programming in mid-October.
Hallmark Channel’s dedicated Christmas movie programming, the popular “Countdown to Christmas,” first started in 2009, and has continued to grow since its inception.
The festive lineup features a mix of new series premieres, returning favorites and special movie events. Most of the programs will air on Mondays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays at 8 p.m., with special timing for double features and some individual programs.
The season kicks off on Friday, Oct. 17, with the series premiere of “Mistletoe Murders,” blending Hallmark’s iconic mysteries with holiday themes. This new series will air on Fridays for two weeks, concluding its season on Oct. 31.
