ORLANDO, Fla, (WFLA) — The family of a 32-year-old man who died after riding a coaster at Epic Universe on Wednesday expressed their plans to honor his life.

Kevin Rodriguez Zavala was found unresponsive after riding the Stardust Racers rollercoaster earlier this week. Rodriguez Zavala was taken to a nearby hospital, where he later died.

The medical examiner determined the cause of death to be multiple blunt impact injuries.

According to NBC affiliate WESH, Rodriguez Zavala, who used a wheelchair, is described by his family as an 'old soul' who was 'truly one of a kind' with a heart full of compassion, love and understanding.

To honor Rodriguez Zavala, his family has started a GoFundMe to help cover memorial and funeral costs.
