Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton is demanding the University of North Texas investigate an incident where a student was allegedly told to leave a class for speaking out against classmates who were "celebrating" the shooting death of political activist Charlie Kirk.

Paxton's letter to the UNT president claims the student was told by a professor to leave the classroom after she was yelled at by other students.

The Attorney General accuses UNT of failing to address the incident and says the school must investigate the students and professor involved.
