MOREHEAD, Ky. – The Kentucky State Police is conducting a murder investigation in Rowan County.

KSP Post 8 public affairs officer trooper Zach Haney has confirmed the incident is developing .

Haney says it is not related to an escaped inmate being sought by law enforcement in the Mason County area.
