More traffic disruptions are coming to Oakland as Pittsburgh Regional Transit moves to the next phase of its University Line bus rapid transit project next week.

Crews will begin work on Forbes Avenue between Jumonville and Brady streets beginning Monday, and Fifth Avenue between Pride and Jumonville streets beginning Tuesday, operating on weekdays from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. through the end of the year. Lane restrictions will be in effect during those hours.

Commuters will have access to two travel lanes through the construction areas during evening rush hour periods from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. Crews will construct temporary crosswalks and ADA-accessible ramps to maintain pedestrian access.
