IRMO, S.C. — The Town of Irmo has announced that Beaver Dam Road will be closed for four days to allow for necessary road work.
According to officials, the closure will begin Monday, September 22, between Brandywine Drive and Quail Valley E., with the road scheduled to reopen Friday, September 26.
During this period, only residents who live within the closure area will be allowed access. All other traffic will be detoured, with signs and barriers in place to guide drivers safely around the construction zone.
Lexington County Public Works has already notified local public safety departments and School District 5 to help minimize disruptions.
Town leaders are asking for patience from residents as crews complete the improvements.
