LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) – Louisville Metro police have arrested a man who was spotted in the process of stealing wire that supported critical infrastructure.

Brian Kenneth Hampton, 44, of Louisville, was arrested September 18, 2025, and booked into Louisville Metro Corrections.

His arrest citation says LMPD officers were called to Eastwood Fisherville Road around 11:50 a.m. after someone saw a white Ford F-150 that was in the process of tampering with or cutting down wires. The witness was able to give police the license plate of the pickup.
