Northern soccer has had a great 2025, remaining unbeaten at the halfway point of the year, and the Polar Bears earned another distinction, with striker Tae Townsend taking home PennLive’s girls soccer Player of the Week fan vote poll.

Townsend scored the game-winning goal in a 2-1 win over Wyomissing last Saturday and three goals in a 4-0 win over Trinity last Thursday.
