Former No. 1 overall pick Jadeveon Clowney, who signed with the Dallas Cowboys this week, was arrested near his hometown of Rock Hill, South Carolina, days before signing with the franchise.

According to WSOC TV in Charlotte , Clowney was arrested last Friday, Sept. 12 in York County for trespassing and failure to identify. Both charges are misdemeanors.

The station reports that Clowney was arrested for parking in a lot on Constitution Boulevard that was not open to parking. The former South Carolina star was told that he was not allowed to park there but decided to park there anyway, according to the report.
