Welcome to Week 5 of the Florida high school football season in the Gainesville area.

The schedule might not be as loaded as last week, but that doesn't mean we don't have solid games. After a week off, Citizens Field is back in operation — Buchholz is home for the fourth time this season.

The Bobcats welcome in an out-of-state foe in Richmond Hill from outside the Savannah area. The Wildcats defeated the 'Cats last season 35-28 in the Peach State thanks to 462 rush yards.

In Starke, Eastside and Bradford renew a "rivalry." The reason for quotations is four times from 2022-2023, the Tornadoes beat the Rams by a combined score of 127-14. Yet, EHS is confident this year is different.
