FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA) - One person was injured in a police shooting in Blackford County on Thursday.

According to the Indiana State Police (ISP), the Hartford City Police Department was serving a search warrant at a residence in the 500 block of South Jefferson Street around 9 p.m.

ISP says while officers were attempting to arrest individuals at the residence, 42-year-old Glen Wilburn was shot and injured.

Aid was given to Wilburn by the police on the scene until medics arrived and transported him to a local hospital with minor injuries. He was later released back into police custody.

No officers were injured during the incident.

According to ISP, two people, including Wilburn, were arrested on several charges as a result of the search warrant being served.
