Boston police are looking for three men who allegedly cornered people in store parking lots over the weekend, grabbed their cell phones and used them to steal thousands of dollars from their bank accounts.

The suspects are described as three men, ages 30 to 40 years-old. One of them has a tattoo with the word “RED above the left eyebrow, police said in a statement Thursday.

The public is asked to help police to identify them.

The three men allegedly went to the parking lots of the Whole Foods store on Harrison Avenue in the South End and to Walgreen’s on East Broadway in South Boston, the statement said.

The men approached the victims in the parking lots, claiming to be collecting donations for a child who was shot or deceased family members, police said.
