Two men were arrested Wednesday following an alleged armed robbery involving a knife in August at a store in Dorchester, police said.

Oshaine Pearson, 27, and Paul Tomlinson, 25, both of Dorchester, are facing the charges of armed robbery and conspiracy, Boston police said in a statement. Pearson was additionally charged with accessory after the fact, police said.

On Aug. 20, a masked person allegedly went into Quincy Variety Store on Quincy Street at about 11:30 p.m. with a knife and “threatened the clerk, and stole several hundred dollars before fleeing on foot,” according to the statement.

Police said a “bright blue” BMW sedan that they identified as the getaway vehicle was linked to Pearson through an investigation and surveillance video and he was arrested.
