Julian Edelman will be enshrined into the New England Patriots Hall of Fame on Saturday.

It’s an extremely well-deserved earned honor, with the former wide receiver slated to be inducted alongside former head coach Bill Parcells in the courtyard outside of Gillette Stadium.

Edelman, who sits near the top of the franchise’s leaderboard in receptions (2nd; 620) and receiving yards (4th; 6,822), as well as the league’s postseason leaderboard in receptions (3rd; 118), discussed some of his career highlights during a session with media when receiving his red jacket on Friday — which included an ode of sorts to his infamous playoff beard.
