LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – Officials with the Arkansas Scholarship Lottery said the Mega Millions game has a $423 million jackpot for the Friday night drawing.
ASL officials said that nearly half a billion dollars is the largest Mega Millions game since April. April was also when the game was changed to use a built-in multiplier that could increase non-jackpot prizes by as much as 10 times, with higher starting jackpots and better odds of winning, they said.
Tickets for Mega Millions have a 9:45 p.m. cutoff time for purchase.
The Arkansas-only Lotto game for Saturday night is $1.13 million. Officials said this is the highest jackpot for that game since a $5.123 million claim by a Yell County resident in February.
