BOULDER, Colo. (KKTV) - The University of Colorado is getting ready to debut its newest mascot, Ralphie VII!

The University of Colorado (CU) says Ralphie VII is a one-year-old American Bison who weighs about 700 pounds.

The university says Ralphie VII was a gift from the Beauprez Family, multigenerational University of Colorado alumni and owners of Eagle’s Wing Ranch outside of Steamboat Springs.
