Episode 2 of Task , " Family Statements ," contains what is easily the most significant scene of the show so far for Mark Ruffalo 's character, Tom Brandis, and the Brandis family overall. While Episode 1, " Crossings ," focuses mostly on Robbie's ( Tom Pelphrey ) family unit, Episode 2 provides the context for the Brandises' drama surrounding the crime that Ethan ( Andrew Russel ) committed.
