Henry Cavill has finally broken his silence on the injury that has delayed his Highlander reboot by several months. A week after it was revealed that Cavill had sustained a fairly serious injury while training for fight scenes in his fantasy-action movie, the former Superman actor has shared an image of him resting up, in the company of his dog, Baggins, and showed off his heavily bandaged foot. Along with the images, Cavill shared William Ernest Henley’s poem, Invictus – a poem that was written by Henley while he was recovering from having his leg amputated. Thankfully, Cavill’s injury is not that bad, and he will be filming Highlander early in 2026.
