Younghoe Koo’s time with the Falcons has come to an end.

Koo, 31, was released by Atlanta on Friday, replacing him with kicker Parker Romo, the team announced .

The one-time Pro Bowler had been with the Falcons since the 2019 season and was known for consistently posting some of the highest field goal percentages in the NFL, with an average of 90.1 percent from 2020-23. 3

Koo experienced a dip in consistency last season, hitting field goals at a rate of just 73.5 percent.

Ahead of the 2025 season, Koo reportedly made 90.2 percent of his kicks during the Falcons’ training camp and preseason, good enough to initially earn the starting job this year.
