BATON ROUGE, La. (WAFB) - A hot and mainly dry pattern will continue through the weekend, with the potential for a few changes by next week.

WEEKEND OUTLOOK

Morning starts will range from the upper 60s to low 70s, while afternoon highs top out in the low to mid 90s. Rain chances are expected to run 10%-20% on both days.

LSU FOOTBALL

Plan on another hot afternoon for tailgating, but the game itself shouldn’t be too bad. Kickoff temperatures in the mid 80s will fall into the upper 70s.

COOL FRONT NEXT WEEK?

We continue to see signs that a weak cool front may move into the region by the mid to latter part of next week. At this point, the primary impact looks to be a modest enhancement in rain chances, but we’ll continue to monitor trends.
