SYRACUSE, N.Y. (WSYR-TV) -- In past years, facing Clemson University would be a reason for Syracuse University fans to get nervous, but the Tigers are 1-2 for the first time in more than a decade.

SU students expressed waves of anticipation on Marshall Street during the afternoon of September 19.

"I think we have a good shot," sophomore David Patterson said. "Although we are playing down in Clemson Stadium. So, it's going to be tough."

Tensions are high, and for some, their faith may be wavering as they hold on to hope.

"I think that, after the UConn game, going into the football games with expectations that you know how you're going to perform has been completely flipped on its head. So I think that right now…no one is too sure how we're going to be doing," sophomore Jack Pryor said.
