'It's only a matter of time until we experience a near miss. Just last year, a lad called Eddie was hit and lost his arm and leg.' Sam Clare, 33, from Underwood in Nottinghamshire, was describing his day-to-day worries while living and working to evacuate vulnerable Ukrainian citizens from the frontline.
Mr Clare and his team, under the brand of Isiah 16:8, are on a mission to evacuate vulnerable people from the frontlines of the Ukraine-Russia war that began in February 2022. They have already evacuated hundreds from the frontline, often venturing to the most dangerous parts of the warzone - or "no-go zones" - to help those in need.
