Summit City offenses, beware.

The Bishop Dwenger defense shut down another SAC team in a 15-3 victory over Homestead at Shields Field on Friday night. The Saints (4-1, 3-0 SAC) have now held their opponents without a touchdown in all three of their conference matchups and four of their five games so far this season.

“It’s a process. It’s been two years, and those guys have taken their lumps, and I’m just so proud of them,” Bishop Dwenger coach Jason Garrett said. “It starts with the defense. The offense was clicking there at times, we just got in our way a few times in crucial moments, but I thought we again won the line of scrimmage.”
