PIKEVILLE, Ky. (WYMT) - Prestonsburg faced Pike Central and won, 44-14.

To end the first half, Kain Patton ran for a touchdown, putting the Blackcats ahead by 30 points.

To start the second half, the Hawks got the ball first but Prestonsburg forced them to punt.

On the Blackcats first drive of the second half, Colin Hatfield got the hand off and ran all the way inside the redzone.

That play set up Prestonsburg for a quick pass to Patton for the Blackcats’ first touchdown of the second half.

Prestonsburg will have their bye week in week six before they face Knott County Central at 7:30 p.m. on the road on Oct. 3.
