Pedestrian dies in collision with LAPD patrol car near Highland Park

The Los Angeles Police Department closed North Figueroa Street in Highland Park after a pedestrian died in a collision with a patrol car.

The crash happened in the area of Woodside Drive and North Figuera Street. The officer did not sustain injuries, but the pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene, according to LAPD.
