Juan Sebastian Veron admitted his regrets in switching from Manchester United to Chelsea , citing injuries as his biggest issue at Stamford Bridge.

Many footballers have transferred from one club in the same league to another, but few have done so in the Premier League due to the sheer backlash they would face. One recent example would be Alejandro Garnacho , who gave up his diminishing role at United to sign for the Blues this summer.

While it seems that the Argentinian winger is happy with his rival switch so far, Veron would be a perfect example of the old saying that the grass isn't always greener on the other side. The midfielder headed to Stamford Bridge in 2003 after just two years at Old Trafford - where the sides will meet later today (September 20).
