MILLINOCKET -- The Old Orchard Beach Seagulls made the long trip up to Millinocket Friday to face the Stearns Minutemen in an 8-Man Small state championship rematch from last year.

The the first quarter already down six, the Minutemen found themselves inside the 10-yard line when junior Cohen Raymond took the toss, cut back inside and bounced off a defender for the score, tying the game at 6-6 in the process.

In the second quarter, Guls quarterback Trot Moody made his presence known when he took a QB keeper to the outside, juked two defenders, and walked into the endzone to take the lead for Old Orchard.

Later in the second and looking to even the score once again, the Minutemen ran an almost direct copy of the play that gave them their first score, as Raymond again took the toss, and
